Our website uses cookies. For more information about cookies, please refer to us Cookie policy. We have concluded a Processing Agreement with Google. Google may not use the data for other Google services. The recording of full IP addresses is blocked by us.

LearnDash LMS

This sample language includes the basics around what personal data your LMS may be collecting, storing and sharing, as well as who may have access to that data. Depending on what settings are enabled and which additional plugins are used, the specific information shared by your site will vary. We recommend consulting with a lawyer when deciding what information to disclose on your privacy policy. We collect information about you during the course purchase process (PayPal, Stripe, and / or 2Checkout), as well as information relating to your course progression and quiz performance.

What we collect and store

When you purchase from us, we'll ask you to provide email address. We'll use this information for purposes, such as, to: --Send you information about your account and order --Create your account for our LMS If you register a free account then we will store your email address. We store information about you for as long as your account exists. We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and / or essay submissions (if applicable). We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Group Leaders can access: --Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address. Any additional information added in your WordPress User Profile can also be visible to the administrator (s).

What we share with others

In this section you should list who you're sharing data with, and for what purpose. This could include, but may not be limited to, analytics / reporting tools, marketing services (such as email services like MailChimp), payment gateways, gamification programs, and third party embeds. We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we'll track:
  • Products you've seen: we'll use this to, for example, show you products you've recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we'll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we will ask you to enter this so we can, for example, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We will also use cookies to keep track of your cart contents while browsing our site.

MailChimp for WooCommerce

When shopping, we keep a record of your email and the cart contents for up to 30 days on our server. This record is kept to replicate the contents of your cart if you switch devices or needed to come back another day. Read our privacy policy here.

WooCommerce Zapier

By using this extension, you may be sharing personal data with an external service (Zapier). Customer information provided during the purchase (checkout) process is sent to Zapier if you have one or more Zapier Feeds configured. Please see the Zapier Privacy Policy for more details. Once this personal information is sent to Zapier, it is then sent to various third party services. You should list the service (s) that are used in the Action part (s) of your WooCommerce Zaps, so that your customers understand which third party services their personal data is sent to after it is sent to Zapier.

Akismet

We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the user sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter's IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information provided directly by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

What personal information we collect and why we collect it

Forms

Ultimate Member provides you with forms for user registration, login and profiles. You collect personal data from your users through these forms. You should specify in your privacy policy what personal information is recorded when someone sends / completes one of the forms, why you collect it, what you do with the information and how long you keep it.

How long we keep your data

Registered user data is kept in the database of your website indefinitely. Data can be exported or deleted via the existing WordPress data export or wipe functionality at the request of users. When data is synchronized with an independent vendor service (e.g. MailChimp through our MailChimp extension), data will remain there until the subscription is canceled or the data is deleted.

Where we send your data

By default, Ultimate Member does not send user data to locations outside of your site. If you have expanded the functionality of the plugin (for example, by sending registered user data to MailChimp via our MailChimp extension), this user information may be transferred to those third-party services. These services can be located abroad as well as outside the EU.
