I feel and see all sorts of things, but what does it mean?

~ I recently spoke to a new participant in my training, and the question she was struggling with was: I feel and see all sorts of things, but what does it actually mean? I have received this question in many different ways. Your sensitivity begins to develop, your perceptual abilities increase, and suddenly you start perceiving things you have never felt or seen before. It feels like a language you have never spoken, and now you suddenly have to hold a conversation without a dictionary.~

I recently spoke to a new participant in my training, and the question she was struggling with was: I feel and see all sorts of things, but what does it actually mean? I have received this question in many different ways. Your sensitivity begins to develop, your perceptual abilities increase, and suddenly you start perceiving things you have never felt or seen before. It feels like a language you have never spoken, and now you suddenly have to hold a conversation without a dictionary.

I feel and see all sorts of things, but what does it actually mean?

The beauty is; You are the dictionary! You may now discover and decipher your dictionary..

This dictionary does not speak to you through your intellect, but through your feelings; your intuition! This dictionary is therefore unique, because you are unique. That is why red means something different to me than it does to you, and why I find a flower beautiful that you might think stinks.

I have a fun exercise for you!

Grab the cable you use to charge your phone; we are going to use this object for the exercise. Take a few deep breaths and let go of all your thoughts for a moment; focus just on your breathing. Now look at the cable and let your feelings guide you. What does your gut tell you about this little cable? Something practical? Something logical? Something symbolic? Something visual? Is the cable clean, dirty, broken, or new? What do you notice immediately? What does it mean to you?

Pay close attention! Because your intuition speaks to you lightning fast! Your thinking is an old diesel engine compared to your supersonic turbo-speed intuition.I feel and see all sorts of things, but what does it mean? - feel and see - Edwin van der Hoeven

The more you practice this, the easier it becomes. At some point, it becomes second nature to look beyond the obvious. Then, when you have a spiritual experience and see or hear something, you know that you can listen to your intuition about what it means. And the first instinct is often the best.!

This is one of the exercises I do with the participants in my training sessions, and it is really great fun! It is not only a good exercise, but it does much more; you also start looking at the life around you differently. When you walk in nature, you start looking differently at everything that lives and moves. The harmony, the beauty, the incredible complexity, and yet also the simplicity.

Does this appeal to you? Then take a look at the Sensitivity, Spirituality, and Communication training. I will help you decipher your own dictionary!

With love, Edwin

20% of people are Highly Sensitive... maybe you are too.

You have a keen sense of things and notice that you react to situations differently than most people. At work or in a relationship, as a Highly Sensitive Person, you may sometimes feel misunderstood. But it starts with yourself. Do you already understand what it means to be highly sensitive and to experience this not as a burden, but as a strength? I would be happy to help you further.
