If you are highly sensitive, this page will likely resonate with you greatly. Isn't it nice to read that these characteristics are known and acknowledged?
A highly sensitive person perceives everything more intensely, with greater depth, and it can therefore easily happen that something becomes too much.
Therefore, read the following points and let me know what you sometimes struggle with. It is so wonderful when we can share this as Highly Sensitive Persons.
A Highly Sensitive Person has very sensitive senses.
Your senses are super sharp! Your eyes can sometimes hurt from bright light; during concerts or in the summer, when you prefer to wear sunglasses. Not to mention the noise level at concerts; it can sometimes literally make you dizzy. Naturally, this also applies to smells, taste, or even the clothes you wear. If you are tired or hungry, it seems to hit you even harder.
On the other hand, you can also enjoy art more, or nature when it is in bloom and the beautiful colors and scents greet you. Light and shadow dance before your eyes, adding more depth to everything you perceive.

You get stressed by having many tasks in a short amount of time.

It may sound obvious, but if you have a lot to do in a short time, it can quickly lead to stress. You know that you need to take short breaks more often to process all the impressions. If you feel that this space is being taken away by a mountain of work, you can quickly develop a feeling of anxiety.
It is important to set priorities and clarify for yourself where you will focus your attention first. You might be able to divide an 8-hour workday into two 4-hour blocks and determine what you can do within each 4-hour block. Set boundaries (for yourself) and communicate them (to others) so that you don't overwork yourself and still get done what is truly important.

You prefer to avoid violent movies and TV programs.
Violence against humans and animals hits you extremely hard, as if the violence is being inflicted upon you. A typical characteristic of a highly sensitive person is his or her empathic ability which sometimes makes it feel as if an injustice done to someone else is being done to you. Another aspect we must take into account here is the target audience for which these types of programs are made and the pursuit of 'exaggeration'. What do I mean by this?
If you were to make a suspenseful film for highly sensitive people, fewer stimuli would be needed than for the average person. However, films are made for the masses, and to convey a message there, more stimuli are required than an HSP needs or can handle.

You have an extra need for peace and privacy on busy days.

You try to structure your life based on peace and harmony.
If there is one thing you find very difficult, it is conflict. You prefer to avoid conflicts and unpleasant situations in your life as much as possible. This avoidance can manifest itself in various ways: at work, in your relationships, and in daily life with people. As with any of the characteristics, this can have both a positive and a negative impact on your life.
HIt is therefore important that a highly sensitive person learns well where he or she avoids conflicts and to what extent that yields benefits or, conversely, comes at a cost. After all, avoiding unpleasant or overwhelming situations can also cause you to miss opportunities in life.
