Nature is my church!

Nature is my church!

Nature is my church!

As I walked here I felt my father very strongly with me, he said “stay with me with your attention” but after a few steps my attention weakened and again he said “focus, stay with me”. He made me experience the distance between him and myself and how difficult it is not to be distracted by external stimuli.

That led me to look at myself and still feel somewhat like a failure. My own father and I couldn't keep my attention on him. But it was as if he then wanted to make it clear to me what the exercise really was; no one is perfect! We will be hurt, fooled and expected to do things we cannot live up to. Only when we find peace and acceptance in ourselves for who we are then we start living. Then we start expressing who we are and taking responsibility for it.

Then we don't need God to find justification for our actions. Then we no longer put people on a pedestal so they can look down on us. Then nothing or no one needs to be forgiven. Then life just ripples, just like the water here in front of me. Without judgement, just taking its place in life. Giving space for life. Yep! Nature is my church. I learn so much from her.

the strength within yourself

Get up after falling and walk again

Letting go of the past is all you have to do. Stop trying to hold on to that which no longer serves you. The dust behind you will settle until it waits to be raised again by the next seeker. Nothing stays the same, for anyone, why should it be any different for you. So get up again and walk on, get on with your life and don't keep grieving. Allow yourself to feel sadness, but also see the relief as a moment to move on again.
